Out of all the biodegradable nappies, these fit my little one the best, leak the least and absorb the most while keeping the skin dry and comfortable.
I was hoping these would be a good choice as the reviews seemed very positive. However, the lining kept sticking to my little girl’s bottom and we had to peel it off every time we changed her which I’m convinced caused her nappy rash. The whole area where the nappy was stuck to her came up very red and spotty. We were only using these for the first few weeks, until we had settled in to a routine, and the minute I moved to the cloth nappies, the rash got better.
Excellent nappies for containment,no leaks and ease of use. Great value for money too. They are ethically made with the environment in mind and biodegrade in the right conditions.
These are fabulous nappies, very reasonable and they don't leak! Very grateful to the other reviewers here which persuaded us to purchase these over Naty which always leak and don't fit well on our big but slim newborn! We used Bambo with our other kids, but these are just as good if not better, and more affordable, highly recommend.

bought 1 pack for hospital for my newborn, as we planned using cloth nappies later on. i was so pleased with them. very soft, no leaks at all, hold lots of liquid. now we are using bigger sizes when away for few days holidays, when i have no way of washing "real nappies|"- pingo never failed us- now my son is 5 months and we tried 'kit and kin' and 'naty' nappies - i liked all of them but by far pingo are my favourite ones

love them- soft and absorbent, never leaked- highly recommanded
These were the best of all the size 1 nappies we tried (including all of the brands on the Ethical Superstore website), and ticked all the boxes, including price. We felt the quality was very high, and the fit was much better for our daughter (long, lean build) than several of the others (e.g. Naty). Were we to go back in time, we'd just stick to the Pingos as we couldn't really fault them in any way.
Although these nappies didn't leak and fitted well, the lining stuck to the skin on our baby's bottom several times. It didn't seem to make a difference how long after a poo we changed her, even if it was very quick her skin would still stick. The only way to unstick it was to put on lots of water - if we tried to pull the nappy otherwise it pulled the skin with it (although skin wasn't damaged).

Best out of all eco brands we tried, no leaks. Also have wetness indicator. Our baby is tall and lean and these were the best fit.
These nappies leaked a lot - at least one incident a day. We changed to the naty ones which were much better.

Nellym asked this question on 15th Jul 2018
Q: Are these nappies fully biodegradable?
A: Hi there,
Many thanks for you query. These nappies are not biodegradable, although they do carry certification from FSC, MyClimate and Naturemade Star for their eco-friendly production methods.
Pingo are always looking to make their products as eco-friendly as possible, so we could see their range of nappies be switched to a biodegradable alternative in the near future, but for the time being they are not biodegradable.
I hope this helps.
