Returning tablets as they come individually wrapped in plastic that is not recyclable in my area. Will buy another product with dissolvable eco friendly material.
Cleans crockery, cutlery, glass etc. well but I dislike the separate plastic wrapper on every tablet. Puzzling for a supposedly environmentally responsible product. I’ve now switched to an alternative with a soluble wrapper.
I live in a hard water area and these just didn't work for me. Shame.

These work really well. Clean dishes and the plastic wrapping can go into recyling. As it comes in a cardboard box it has reduced my waste.

With most cover Ecover products I just figure that if I don't want something to be clean I just won't bother to wash them but these seem to work after a fashion there is little direct contact so they won't aggravate any eczema I might have got from other Ecover products.

As a fan of Ecover with laundry I have tried these on many occasions and to be fair are the worst on the market. They just dont clean and leave an unpleasant hue to glass and plastic etc. Compared to Aldis own brand these are 1 star.

This product is as good as branded non ecofriendly dishwasher tabs.
Effective cleaning and leaves a sparkle to my glassware.
A little more expensive but a lower cost to the environment.
Works well, however....I have stopped buying it as I am concerned about some of the ingredients; such as the use of Tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED) which is commonly used as a bleach activator in laundry detergents. It also carries an R41 - Risk of serious damage to eyes. It carries an environmental warning; 6.2. Environmental precautions:rnPrevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. (So it's not really good to enter our waterways, even though it does via our drains?) It has 5% non-ionic surfactants - chemicals of which there is little valuable information, and R36 - Irritating to eyesrnR8 - Contact with combustible material may cause fire, R22 - Harmful if swallowedrnR41 - Risk of serious damage to eyes, R36/37/38 - Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.

Avoid if you are chemically sensitive, unfortunately I found this out the hard way. rnIf you are not fragrance sensitive they are probably good but I had a horrible reaction to them.

The description is wrong since the dishwasher tablets come in packs of 25 layered tablets.
It's another favourite of mine for efficient dish-washing.

We recently moved to a house with a dishwasher and reluctantly use it sometimes. I was hoping to use ecover tablets but have found so far they do not get dishes as clean as the other tablets. It's not a huge difference though - if you are not fussy about pristine glasses and mugs these do the job.

Was skeptical about their cleaning power, but bought some to try. I usually use Finish or ASDA tablets. Tried these with a pretty heavy load on a normal wash (pasta dishes mostly) and have to say they did excellent! No stickiness (that horrible dishwasher feeling) and a pleasant, non-chemically smell. Good eco-friendly dishwasher tablets that I shall now be using!

Was a bit dubious using these instead of well known dishwasher tablets. They prove to work really well. The difference with non ecological tablets is that dishes aren't as shiny. But they clearly work and there's no go back for me. Use this product and know that you're not killing fishes and damaging the environment!

I gave these a go but was a little dubious that they would be as effective as other dishwasher tablets. I was proven completely wrong. The load came up just as clean. We use them all the time now with a clean eco-conscience.

Q: do I ned to use rinse agent and dishwasher salt with these? Do ecover make these if so?
A: Ecover recommend that rinse aids and dishwasher salts are used in conjunction with this these tablets. <a href="http://www.ethicalsuperstore.com/products/ecover/ecover-rinse-aid/">Ecover rinse aid</a>, is available from us, Ecover do not manufacture dishwasher salt, their website suggests using normal dishwasher salt.
